By accessing or using VerbTrainer ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

VerbTrainer is an online language learning platform focused on verb conjugation mastery. We provide:

• Interactive training modules
• Progress tracking and statistics
• Gamification features (XP, levels, streaks)
• Premium features (subscription-based)

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

• You must be 13+ years old to create an account
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep your password secure and confidential

3.2 Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
• Do not share your account credentials

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for illegal purposes
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service
• Use bots or automated scripts to cheat or manipulate leaderboards
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute our verb database without permission
• Harass or abuse other users or our support team
• Upload malicious code or viruses

Violation may result in account termination without refund.

5. Premium Subscriptions

5.1 Billing

• Lifetime Plan: One-time payment for permanent access
• Monthly Plan: Recurring monthly charge until canceled
• All prices in USD (US Dollars)
• Payment processed securely via Stripe

5.2 Cancellation

• Monthly: Cancel anytime from Settings. No partial refunds for unused time.
• Lifetime: 30-day money-back guarantee. Email support@verbtrainer.app.

5.3 Price Changes

We may adjust pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions are grandfathered at original price.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Content

All content on VerbTrainer (verb databases, UI design, code, text) is owned by VerbTrainer or our licensors. Protected by copyright and international treaties.

6.2 License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

6.3 Restrictions

You may NOT:

• Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works
• Remove copyright notices or branding
• Use our content in competing products

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

IMPORTANT: Language is complex and nuanced. While we strive for accuracy:

• Verb conjugations are provided "as-is" without warranties
• We do not guarantee 100% linguistic accuracy
• Regional variations may exist
• Always consult professional sources for critical use cases

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the last 12 months
• We are not responsible for third-party services (Stripe, etc.)

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold VerbTrainer harmless from any claims arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

10. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Suspected fraudulent activity
• Extended inactivity (24+ months)

You may terminate your account anytime via Settings → Delete Account.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Disputes shall be resolved in Swedish courts.
